Presentation for the 2001 Forum of the Barreau de
Paris
The results of a Telework special interest group are
to be presented at the barristers' forum. Representatives of all the
aspects that have to be handled for the implementation of telework
were represented : lawyers of social and fiscal law, social
security, insurance companies, large corporations, experts, unions,
etc. A publication has been decided and requested by the president
of the barristers who is interested in the subject. The aim is
publication date of March 2001.
A summary of the meeting should
be published in the next edition of the 'Barreau' new journal.

Collective agreement for the telecommunications industry
This is a new collective agreement for workers in telecommunications, signed on 6 June 2000 and issued by all relevant union and employer organisations. It is the first French collective agreement which specifically mentions telework. From the outset, it should apply to 100,000 workers.

Addendum to the work agreement for teleworkers
This document is in addition to the regular working
contract and is signed by the employee and the manager. It
stipulates the conditions under which the job can be done in
telework mode. It applies to all employees who choose to telework in
alternate mode between their home and the office. It does not apply
to the mobile (nomadic) employees.
